What is Eco-Safe?

All our defensive driving courses contain an element of Eco-Safe training. This is a way of driving that reduces fuel consumption and vehicle ‘wear and tear' to help you save money on vehicle running costs and promote a greener company image.

Fuel Saving Calculator

It has been found that drivers who undertake Eco-Safe training usually see an improvement in MPG of between 10% and 25%. The fuel saving calculator found on this page is based on a 15% improvement and will show you what can be saved by an average driver.

Additional Savings

The savings indicated are based only on fuel costs and do not include the additional benefits of reduced vehicle wear and tear. In addition the half day Eco-safe courses can dramatically improve driver safety with the effect of reducing fleet accident rates and the associated costs.
