Driver Online Assessment

DriverSkills have developed a unique online driver assessment software programme to assess a driver's risk of being involved in a road accident based on the drivers lifestyle and knowledge about driving. The software has been developed from our vast experience in providing driver training and on road driver assessment to a wide range of corporate clients.

Full Manager Version

This full corporate version of our system has more sections, a more detailed report, along with administration and analysis capabilities above that of our public free version. These capabilities allow a designated manager access rights to all the reports from their employees allowing easy analysis of the results. Individual reports for each employee are also emailed to the designated manager as and when each employee takes the test.

Driver Assessment

The profiler is not a test that your employees will pass or fail, it's designed to give employers a clearer view of an employees' strengths and weaknesses when driving. This information will allow you to assess a drivers overall risk level, highlighting any areas of particular concern.

How to use the Driver Assessment System

To use the system you will first need to purchase a Username and Password for each user from our fleet sales team, please contact us with your requirements or for more information.

The Test

Taking the test involves your employees answering questions about themselves, their driving habits and driving knowledge. The session takes around 20 minutes and has 54 questions which appear randomly.
The driver assessment software then generates an individual report split into 10 different areas of risk and also gives an overall score from all the sections, this score is translated into risk levels of high, medium or low risk. The document also offers advice and recommends training if appropriate to reduce any risk detected. The report can be viewed immediately after the session and is also emailed to the participant.

Targeted Training

Having established which drivers are most at risk, you can then properly target the training to maximise its benefit. Targeted training also makes sure that the training budget and employee time is spent as cost effectively as possible.

Tests Can Be Individually Set For Your Business Needs

The sessions can also gather additional information specific for your business needs. For example if you have a road risk management policy that has specific procedures laid out for given situations, questions can be set to check employees knowledge of these procedures.

The system is not designed to test a driver's mental ability to drive but rather is meant to be an indicator of areas for potential improvement or areas that need to be concentrated on during further training.
